Live ON Purpose!

Every wondered why the Lord allowed you to endure a painful situation?  Ever wondered why something was placed on your heart and when you completed the task, you felt rewarded?  Ever met someone and you knew that you were supposed to connect with them, but you never really understood why?   It is all through God, and according to the PURPOSE He has for your life!

I tell people all the time that there is purpose in absolutely EVERYTHING that we endure, thus we need to seek the kingdom to understand the purpose behind it.  For example, my marriage ended via Domestic Violence.  This was the last thing that I thought would allow me to minister to others, however through my experience I have been able to share the goodness of Jesus to men and women alike, and tell them how he kept me through my situation.  My divorce has not only allowed me to testify to others, but it also showed me the power of God.  The purpose for my domestic violence situation was merely for me to help others.  The purpose was for me to witness to those that don’t see a way out, those that don’t know how to leave, those that have left a DV situation yet still need assurance that God is still in their corner even when they don’t feel him.  I went through Hell and back, but the purpose God had for that situation was way better than any emotional roller coaster that I endured during my marriage.

I tell you my story as an example, because God has purpose for all of us, but we have to be connected to him to understand it.  When you can live your life knowing that God has his hand in everything and you can trust that ALL THINGS work together for your good according to HIS purpose, your life will be so much better and you will live so freely.

THE-PURPOSE-OF-LIFE-WEB

Ephesians 1:11-12 tells us “It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” (The Message Version)

Live on purpose, know that you may be the only person to witness to someone in their lifetime.  Your mere conversation with a random person in the grocery store may have changed their mind from committing suicide that night.  You never know why the Lord has positioned you where you are, so embrace the moment and LIVE ON PURPOSE!
