I know we’ve all heard “what God has for me, is for me”, but what if you are so out of alignment to God’s will, that you miss what He has you?!? Whether it’s a new car, a new job, healing, buying a home, a husband/wife, a big trip, increased finances, anything…. What if you missed your blessing?
This totally happened to me. God promised me #123116 and the day came and went without the fulfillment of something HE told me over and over again. But why?? My disobedience of course.
I was living how I wanted to live without being aligned to Him. I was doing my own thing with blinders on, when in all honesty, He was trying to open my eyes and take me out of my reality. He was trying to show me that what he had for me, wouldn’t compromise what He placed in me. I see now that he gave me the warning signs that I needed to rethink my actions, but I negated His talking to me to fulfill my flesh… BUT GOD!!!
His grace and mercy… His faithfullness… His love… His forgiveness… HIS VERY BEING… has restored me, and is currently putting me back in the place to receive the fulfillment of HIS promise to ME!!!
Words cannot express how awesome it is to serve the God of second, third, fourth, UNLIMITED chances. He just wants us to be obedient, humble, and aligned to Him.
Just like it took the Israelites 40 years to get to the promise land (a journey that should have only taken 11 days), the condition of their heart prolonged their journey. Thus, my journey, my promise, my #123116 has been prolonged so that my mind, my heart, my spirit, will be aligned to the will of God.
I write my story today to encourage you to listen to God when He speaks to you. I encourage you to stop when He says stop, and go when He says go. Stay in the word, and study diligently. Keep your mind on Him, with a humble heart, and your promise will be delivered faster than you know.
I sure am ready to embrace my promise, and I look forward to hearing your testimony as to how God fulfilled yours!! Be great ladies and gents!!
